Harbin is the capital
city of Heilongjiang province, the most famous “ice city” in China.

Siberian Tiger Park(Dongbei-Hu
Linyuan)
The Siberian Tiger Park (Dongbei-Hu Linyuan)
is the largest breeding and research center of Siberian Tiger in the world,
located on the north bank of the Songhua Jiang River, near the Sun Island, in
Harbin city, Heilongjiang province. There are over 800 Siberian tigers of
different ages in this park, all those tigers are training for their future
wild life, when they finish their training course they will release to full
nature environment, and live all by themselves. Besides Siberian tigers you can
also see some other rare animals, like snow tiger, lynx, liger, white lion,
Siberian tiger also known as Manchurian
or North China tiger in China, is considered the largest subspecies of all
naturally-occurring felines, with an average weight of around 227 kg for male adults.
For decades, people kill Siberian tigers
for their thick and furs and bones, the census in 2005 shows that the Siberian
tiger is rarest feline’s species in the world , only 10
to 20 wild individual in the whole world. After half-century hard work, the
tiger population in the Siberian tiger park
is over 800.

Chengdu & Wolong: Giant panda
Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, lies

research base of giant panda breeding (Chengdu Panda Base)
The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding was established in
March 1987, located just 10km from downtown area of Chengdu City. After 20 years effort, now the Chengdu Panda
Base has developed the world largest artificial breeding population of captive giant pandas.
2006 to 2011 the Chengdu Panda Base made the best breeding
achievements “Mei Mei” around its 30s, recognized as the super “Hero Mother”,
has birthed 7 times. “Qing Qing” , 10 years younger than “Mei Mei” and present
“Ya Ya” made new breeding records via 9 births, and 13 newborn cubs , all of
which are presently alive.

Wolong
